The process begins with a digital scan of the affected tooth. We use a specialized camera to create a detailed 3D image of your tooth, eliminating the need for traditional messy molds. This digital model is then used to design the custom crown with extreme precision.
Once the design is complete, the CEREC machine mills the crown from a block of high-quality ceramic material. This material is both strong and aesthetically similar to natural tooth enamel, ensuring a durable and natural-looking result. The milling process takes less than an hour.
